   Ground is officially Very Soft 1:15 Qatar Prix Marcel Boussac - Criterium des Pouliches - RACLETTE 6/4 - is my main bet of the 2 days at Longchamp. Im not afraid to say this filly could be super special. Obviously she has to step up on her last win, but the ground and distance isnt an issue. Agartha is also a horse i have followed, she wont mind the distance or going but Racette looks special, the only concern with Racletter is she was only out 2 weeks ago.  1:50 Qatar Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere - i managed to get this down to 3 runners, Ancient Rome, Angel Bleu & Accakaba - all will love the going and the distance is fine for them. But for me ACCAKABA 11/2 just edges it here. She just beat Fleur D'iris in the Prix Du Calvados against fillies, and Fleur D'iris has since gone on the win a Group 3. Accakaba does take on the boys here, but with her allowance i think she could maintain her unbeaten record. Angel Bleu will give her the most to think about, after winn...

  Just my view on the ones i like for what its worth. Its soft in Longchamp at present, and their soft is our 'heavy' with plenty of rain to come this weekend, the racing will be tough. With this in mind, i am looking for the mudlovers 12:23 Qatar Prix Chaudenay - Manobo has done nothing wrong so far and is unbeaten in 3 runs so far, and although i do not think the distance will be an issue, the ground causes me some concern and for that reason, his price of 8/11is not attractive. Kemari is by Dubawi so the softer ground might not be an issue. If Interpretation runs well it will do a lot for Hurricane Lane, as he was 4th in the St Leger, so we know the distance should not be an issue here, ground is a little worry. For me though i am taking a little risk on ALTER ADLER 10/1 - he was 2nd in the German Derby and the soft ground is not an issue, the worry is the step up in distance on soft. Its a tough race to start off with and i cannot have the favour...

  1:15  Qatar Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere Due to conditions i need to find the horses who will go onthis ground because that will be the key. These are lightly raced so its even harder, but for me the standout form is NANDO PERRADO 13/8 who was 2nd to Campanelle at Deauville in the Prix Morny. That was soft that day and the winner could be special. Nando Perrado is also a winner of the Coventry, which is the best form on offer. The soft ground in France is not like the soft ground over here, we would call it heavy. He has to step up a furlong but he is bred to stay the mile. St Marks Bascilica has won a Maiden on soft, and run a great race to be 2nd in the Group 1 National Stakes, the may well deal ok with the ground, but i think he would prefer it a bit drier.
