Supplicant - Richard Fahey looking forward to him running 12/10/13 by The Novice Tipster » Fri Oct 11, 2013 7:01 pm William Buick NEZAR MY BEST CHANCE ON A TOUGH FUTURE CHAMPIONS DAY CARD AT NEWMARKET There’s a slightly strange feeling about riding at my local track on Future Champions Day because for the first time in a while I’ll be in action at Newmarket on a Saturday without a ride for the boss, John Gosden. For that reason alone I don’t think it’s going to be straightforward finding a winner but it’s hopefully business as usual on Sunday at Goodwood where I’ve got some tidy rides for Clarehaven. As for Newmarket, I think my best chance of getting a result is NEZAR (4.55) in the Autumn Stakes over a mile. Although he was beaten in a Group 3 Last time when he was third to Miracle Of Medinah I’m pretty sure he’s up to winning at this grade. He’s a horse I’ve always liked since I won on him first time out at Windsor in July and we were unlu...

"Every time she has worked she has improved and she is ready for a run. She ought to stay ten furlongs well and hopefully she will run a promising race which will point us in the right direction for the future." Richard Fahey 14:00 York - Bridle Belle 12/1 Bridle Belle ran really well at Newmarket last time ...

Straight from the Trainers Mouth

A new feature, if proven popular, every so often i will post comments from trainers on thier views of their runners today, see if it helps us all pick a winner Straight From The Trainers Mouth Gordon Elliot - 14:20 Perth - Cause Of Causes 15/8 He deserved to win his maiden hurdle at Kilbeggan the last day. Though he was a narrow winner he was giving a lot of weight away and the runner-up did the form no harm when winning a maiden hurdle at the same track since. We're stepping him up to three miles this afternoon but we don't think it's going to be a problem. Timmy Murphy rides him and he's going to take his time on the horse. He's penalised for his Kilbeggan win but he's only a four-year-old and therefore gets a weight allowance, which helps. The ground shouldn't be an issue and he's in good nick so we're expecting another good run from him. Roger Varian – 15:00 York – Mijhaar 11/4 The son of Shirocco, who runs in the colours of S...
