Southern France and Stars Over The Sea might come top here, but they have to have a lot of luck. Both are drawn out quite wide so they need to get into a good position Southern France has never been this far, but Aidan is a master at Long distance flat horses. 3rd in the St Leger, this horse is the class act of the race. If he gets the distance, he will go very close. He is top rated but has a very good weight here as he is only 3.  Stars Over The Sea won the Trail over C&D by 10L. and was only put up 4lb for that, and he beat Golden Spear that day, however there is only a 4lb gain in Golden Spears favour, i am not sure that's enough to reverse the form. 1st Starchitect 8/1 - 65 2nd St Michel 6/1 - 60 3rd Grumeti 28/1 - 55 I've always thought of this race as a race that the National Hunt lads like to win, like Grumeti last year winning at a massive 50/1. Well he is back to defend his title and he could go well. So many stats to go through so i wont write a big thing here. It's a close race. Starchitect is a horse i follow, he has a big future, especially at Cheltenham and he can certainly win a race like this so i am more than happy to stick with him. Grumeti is only 1lb higher than last year. Its a tough race, with 33 runners so there is a lot of luck in running but i do notice apart from Scatter Dice, most winners are up there with the leaders or lead in this race. Starchitect is a front runner and Grumeti runs with the leaders. St Michel is a hold up horse, and for me thats a worry, if he is up with the pace then i would be interested.
