1st Argento Boy 10/1 - 60 1st Better Times Ahead 16/1 - 60 2nd Flicker Of Hope 11/1 - 50   A bit of a gap with these 3 and the others, the next ones are 35 and that's Sa Majeste and Search For Glory. Argento Boy is a worry as he is very unexposed, but he has done well over fences, and he will like the ground and the track will suit. He hasn't been this far but looks a good stayer, so this step up could bring out more improvement. He also carries a good weight. If he isn't too Novicy here, he could run well!  Better Times Ahead won over 3m 6f at Fairyhouse in November and went up 14lb in the handicap, so has to find more. He will like the trip, the course and the going. He has claims if he can find more.  Flicker Of House won over 2m 4f at Fairyhouse on heavy going, so this is another mile and 1f, on much better ground, he has also won at 3m 1f, so there shouldn't be an issue. He would possibly not mind more rain either.  He is also unexposed over fences, so th...

1st Diol Ker 80/1 - 55 1st Where's Frankie 14/1 - 55 2nd Hartur D'arc 16/1 - 50 2nd Cool Survivor 33/1 - 50 2nd Dunboyne 40/1 - 50 3rd Favori De Champdou 16/1 - 45 3rd Frontal Assault 20/1 - 45 As you can see this is extremely close! there really is nothing in it. Even the favourite scored 35. Intense Raffles is a difficult one to work out as only 2 races to go on over here, he scored 30 but he has the potential so i just wanted to point it out.  Diol Ker can throw a surprise win, in fact 2 years ago won the Leinster National on heavy and is only 2lb higher than then. He came 10th in this race 2 years ago off 8lb higher, so this is interesting. He has the ability i think but all depends on if its a going day Where's Frankie also scored well he won over 1f shorter last time out, but this is much tougher assignment, however he has a lovely weight and he is a stayer, All the others named here have positives, of liking the going, but all expect Frontal Assault have a question...

1st Mister Fogpathes 14/1 - 60 2nd Diol Ker 16/1 - 50 2nd Ronald Pump 20/1 - 50 2nd Smoking Gun 33/1 - 50 This race is so close. So many 3rds as well Fakir D'alene, Samcro, Aramax and Early Doors.  I am hoping my system has it right here and the top 4 mentioned will go very well.  Mister Fogpatches just squeezed into the lead here. He can boast a 3rd in the Scottish National & Cork National. He certainly stays! he also wears Cheekpieces for the first time as well, which might bring out some improvement. The ground will suit well and although he has never been to Fairyhouse before, but he should cope well here. He gets a low weight here, and he could go very well.  Diol Ker is not really a horse i know too well, but looking at his form he looks like he will want the rain to fall, however he can get just over 3m on heavy so this better ground could help him get the extra distance required. The positives are he likes it at Fairyhouse, having run some nice races th...

1st Agusta Gold 9/1 - 60 2nd Court Maid 16/1 - 50 3rd Fitzhenry 28/1 - 45 3rd Snugsborough Benny 66/1 - 45 As you see Agusta Gold is clear here only just, 4th placed Latest Exhibition, Espanitio Bello, Run Wild Fred and Enjoy D'allen all scored 40  Agusta Gold is extremely consistant, so consistant she seems ok on any ground. She actually won the Grand National Trial at Punchestown last year, so we know the distance today will not be an issue. Her stats at Fairyhouse are 2, 3, 1. She runs off a career high mark here which means she needs to find more, and that would be a worry however, hre last run over fences was on her season debut after 320 days off, the average handicap mark in that race was 141 and today its 143. the biggest difference was that it was over 2m 5f on heavy and taday its 3m 5f on yielding. She beat Moyhenna that day who is not only 1lb lower than that run, has a 5lb claimer on where as Agusta Gold is up 7lb, so thats a big swing in Moyhennas favour. Moyhen...

Irish Grand National Tips

1. Alfie Sherrin 14/1 2. The Last Derby 50/1 3. Start Me Up 20/1 4. Some Target 25/1 The Last Derby interests me, i do not know much about him, but he certainly hits the targets of all Irish National Winners, at 50/1 is it worth a e/w? Funnily the only horse i am not sure of it Alfie Sherrin as he has only won on left handed tracks, and Fairyhouse is right handed. Distance, and ground will suit though. The other 2 also hit all the targets.
