2:45 Lingfield Petite Jack 12/1 You know i like a horse with course form and Petite jack fits right into my category. I am not going to lie, its not a ny easy for him and he will have to do a lot better than his last disappointing run. So here are his stats on an AW surface - 1, 6, 1, 1, 1, 2, 1, 10, 1, 6.  If i take Lingfield runs then its 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 10. I can rule out the 10th as that was over 2 miles and that was obviosuly too far. Over C&D it's 1, 1. He is by Champs Elysee who is one of the best sires at Lingfield and the AW in general, In The Lope has the next best sire in this race. Battalion is probably the best form horse of the race but he is back from a break and he tends to need a run, although he has won off a break before, but thats was as a 4yo. The Booking of Luke Morris is interesting, they have only teamed up 11 times at Lingfield and thier stats look like this 5, 1, 2, 2, 4, 1, 4, 1, 9, 2, 2. 1st Poetic Rhythm 13/2 - 70 2nd On The Blind Side 3/1 - 50 3rd Momella 15/2 - 45 My personal fancy in this is On The Blind Side in this, but its not about my personal thoughts, its based on facts and stats and the stats point towards Poetic Rhythm. He came back from a break and won the Persian War grade 2 at Chepstow. He beat Amour De Nuit that day, who had the benefit of a race and has since gone on to win since. Vision Des Flos was well beaten into 3rd that day, but there could be plenty of improvement to come. Poetic Rhythm has a pentaly to overcome though, so will make life harder. On The Blind Side is well thought of and ran well at Aintree, that will put him spot on for this, but on official stats he needs to improve to be invovled Momella won by a massive 17L last time out and the stable are in great form, i wouldn't dismiss her My Selection: Poetic Rhythm 13/2

1st Urgent De Gregaine 5/1 - 90 2nd Cantlow 4/1 - 85 3rd Cause Of Causes 6/1 -70 As expected it's a very close race, with nothing between a lot of them. Urgent De Gregaine just got to the top. He was an unexpected winner over C&D in January and came 2nd in the big race in Prague at the beginnng of October after a break. Which will put him spot on for this again, he loves these marathon distances. Cantlow is a grand old boy who was 2nd behind Urgent De Gragaine in January. Then 3rd Behind Cause Of Causes at the Festival, he will run well, he always does here. Since 2016 he is 1, 2, 3 over C&D Cause Of Causes won over C&D at the Festival, his Cheltenham form is 2nd to none with stats of 3, 7, 2, 1, 1, 5, 1.Course form is everything here even more so on the Cross Country course where his form is 5, 1. Unfortunetely he tends to need a run or 2 after a break. I will stick with the system but i would not be surprised to see the other 2 there either My Selection
