He has been running in a class higher where the average rating in 11lb higher than todays. Both his wins have come in the class albeit over 7f. Plus he is now on the same mark as his last win. I think he may run a good race. 14/1 looks good

1st Sandymount 14/1 - 65 2nd El Bandit 8/1 - 60 3rd Samburu Shujaa 9/4 - 50 Sandymount is a confusing one as only ever once gone 3 miles, and it was a slightly better race and was only beaten a legnth, but then he was off for nearly 1 and a half years. His comeback run wasn't great but he obviously needed the run badly. He is 5lb lower than his 2nd over 3 miles. If he is back to full fitness he could go well and it will be no surprise to see him in the top 3. Both his wins have come after a comback run from a break, so maybe he will again! El Bandit, comes from the in form stable of Paul Nicholls, who actually has Kapcorse as well, Kapcorse scored 35. El Bandit is 2lb lower than the last time he was in a handicap, and he won that. he hasn't been doing too well in Listed and Graded company over fences, so this will be easier, and he reverts back to hurdles. He has claims if reverting to hurdles and handicap compnay works Samburu Shujaa won impressively last time out w

1st Adrien Du Pont 5/1 - 85 1st Glen Rocco 9/2 - 85 2nd Double Shuffle 10/1 - 80 3rd Talkischeap 7/2 - 65 I feel confident to say the winner will be one of the above. As you can see there is a gap between the top 3 names and the last name. Adrien Du Pont is a C&D winner. He will enjoy the ground. This is a step up, but he is a winner of a Grade 1 hurdle, so it shouldn't be an issue. Stable are flying at the moment, and he has a big chance. Geln Rocco deserves a shot at this grade after winning so impressively last time out and was put up a massive 13lb for that, but he beat 141 rated Barney Dwan by 33L. Double Shuffle shoulders top weight, but he enjoys it here over C&D with stats of 1, 2, 2, 5. The 5th was in the King George at Chirstmas which was a good run, this will be more his grade though. 1st Harry The Viking 25/1 - 65 2nd Mysteree 20/1 - 55 3rd Vincente 11/2 - 50 Harry The Viking is with Raz De Maree the oldest runner in the race . He is a true out and out stayer, and he will love every minute on this ground, with stats of 1, 1, 9, 10, PU, 3, 3, 2, PU, 3, 1, 1, 1. In fact 5 of his 7 wins have come on this ground, and if it dries out, his other wins came on good. He beat Callett Mad last time out who went on to be 2nd in a Grade 3 over 3m 5f. He get on with his jockey, and has onyl ever been out the places 4 times in 10 runs. Winning 3. He has come 4th in this 2 years ago, and is 1lb lower, but it was soft that day. He seems in good form, if his form continues, he will have claims, his age is against him. Mysteree is 11 now , and has been badly out of form, however blinkers are applied today and maybe that will bring out some extra in him. I think he would want to rain to come though.
