Broxbourne Due to some issues, i have not been able to select some main top tips from my shortlist, or write a piece. So i am posting my shortlist, with one view on a horse. I hope from this you can select some nice winners. I will separate the main ones that stood out Main Tips 1:30 Ascot - Broxbourne 4/1 (nap) Only horse i will write something about, mainly because i know the horse so well. She comes here with every chance, up 5lb for her last win which was a very impressive win, although only winning by 1/2l, but after having an operation on her ears, i think she had some cyst which were causing her some pain. Since then she has won both her 2 starts. She is an out and out stayer, and although back to 2 miles she will want a quick pace to test the others to their limit, and having 2 stablemates in the race could prove crucial. Black Truffle 5:10 Brighton - Excellent Aim 6/4 (nap) - £25 Last 2 runs have been here at Brighton, and they have been 2, 1.  Won nicely last time out. Went up 4lb but today Ryan Powell takes off 3lb. Looking at the stalls the 2nd place was from a very wide stall, the win came from stall 3, and today Excellent Aim runs from stall 4. Will be hard to beat. 4:20 Lingfield - Black Truffle 8/1 e/w - £15 stats over C&D are 3, 3, 1, 1. And has raced here over 1f shorter and came 3rd so, he has 100% place race here. Last run here was a win, today he is carrying 7lb less in the weights and is up 4lb in the handicap. So it looks promising. William Buick takes the ride and he wears Eye Shields for the first time, he normally wears headgear, but a change in the type of headgear could help, escially as the kick back at Lingfield has been quite bad recently, and he is a hold up horse 8:20 Newmarket - Nardin 7/1 e/w Mezzotint 14/1 looks interesting her, application of headgear

Sound Amigo 8:00 Chepstow - Cape Crossing 11/2 e/w (nap) Being a bit careful and putting e/w, but i cannot see any reason why she cannot win this. I admit to liking Tooley Woods to start with, stats over course are 1, 3, 2. And only every beaten by the smallest of margins. So Obviously Tooley Woods will be the danger. However in her last race Cape Crossing ran and can 3rd to her 2nd. What turned me to Cape Crossing is that she had been off the track since January, so this was her first run since then. She was 2 1/4L behind the 1st and 2nd that day. Tooley Woods was put up 2lb in the handicap, plus is carrying 8lb more in the weight than that day. Where as Cape crossing has gone down 2lb in the handicap and is only carrying an extra 4lb in the weights, so if my calculations are correct Cape Crossing is effectively 8lb better off today. Buick has only one ride at Kempton 8:30 Kempton - Stresa 3/1 (Boylesport) NAP Everyday i go through a list and look at jockey's rides for the next day. And if certain jockeys  only have one ride, i write it down and take a look. Well i am glad i did. This horse is looking very good in this and must be expected to run a big race. She ran in the Sandringham at Royal Ascot last time coming 16th out of 26, so not disgraced, but this drop several classes will make her much more competitive. She has been dropped 9lb by the handicapper, which looks like it will play to her advantage as she is now 5lb lower than her last win.  This looks her's for the taking 2:10 Newcastle - Heskin 5/2 Not beaten far in last race, but when asked to make a move, didn't pick up straight away, although did stay on at the end. Fitted with Cheek Pieces today, should spark him up. Is the horse to beat if Cheek pieces do their job. 3:50 Brighton - Toga Tiger 14/1 e/w (william Hill)

Response 8:40 Ripon - Response 9/4 (nap) Has been running consistently but just not getting his head in front. The application of cheek pieces should be the final piece of the puzzle, and everything should fall into place today. 4:45 Catterick - Solar Spirit 14/1 e/w (William Hill) - £97.50 Dropped in class and an ease in the ground are big positives for Solar Spirit. Has never won on anything firmer than good and 3/6 wins came on Good - Soft. Also goes much better on a course like Catterick/ in fact, course, distance and ground type here stats are 1, 3. Both in the class above, then win was when he was 5lb higher in the handicap. although he carrier 14lb less than today.
