1st Mellow Ben 3/1 - 55 2nd Magical Thomas 7/2 - 50 3rd Cubswin 7/2 - 40 Very tight race this and there really isnt much between any of them. Workbench and Wind Place And Sho scored 35! So i am hoping my system has come up with the winner. Mellow Ben just nips this, he is top weight here. He was put up 7lb for his win after a break last time out, here at Fontwell. He beat todays rival Sensible Friend by 6L who had a couple of runs under his belt and had the fitness edge. So i would be surprised if the tables are turned here. From that race the 5th place has since run again in a chase and won by 15L, so it could be good form. Mellow Ben is a 2 times winner here and has a good chance again. Magical Thomas is 2/2 at Fontwell and will love the ground. He has to step up again, but he could go well, he needs to find 17lb improvement to beat Mellow Ben Cubswin came 3rd in a listed race back in July, the form probably hasnt turned out that well, but she has Bryony Front on board w

1st Papa Delta 5/1 - 80 2nd Spirit Of Zebedee 3/1 - 60 3rd Ace Master 6/1 - 35 3rd Poppy May 20/1 - 35 3rd Frank The Barber 20/1 - 35 Although one clear winner here and 2nd, it seemed a lot closer than the result shows. It's a Class 7 so they are not the best or most consistant. Papa Delta won 2 races ago, at Lingfield in this class and this distance. 4lb higher in the weights now, but is a winner recently!!! Jockey and trainer has a good recent strike rate when teaming up Spirit Of Zebedee ran well in defeat last time out and drops in grade. Distance and going are fine, has a chance No point in going into detail, on all as there isnt much! but i trust my system and am happy to go with Papa Delta. One not named is Social Butterfly, only scored 5, but is joint highest rated and has a claimer on claiming 7lb which could help, plus 1lb less, for either age or sex. so 8lb better off than the others. I am not sure on the jockey but Mick Channon has a good strike rate here

1st The Warrior 7/2 - 110 2nd Arctic Sea 13/2 - 80 3rd Graceful James 50/1 - 50 4th Ubla 50/1 - 40 The Warrior won well last time out over C&D and was up 6lb for his troubles. But the Blinkers seemed to work well and maybe more could be eeked out , and based on last years form he still could be well handicapped. He dropped down to Class 5 last time out and he remains in it again. Unfortunately he is burdoned with top weight. He should run well though. i did a little digging and Amanda Perrett and Jom Crowley have a 33% strike rate with Class 5 Handicappers at this course. Arctic Sea i see has been backed heavily. and i can see why. Winner last time out over C&D. and only put up 2lb by the handicapper, but Ryan Rossa 's 3lb claim negates that. Looking at both the aboves speeds over C&D, AS won in 1m 38.02s and TW won in 1m 35.71s - even with the rise in weights i think The Warrior should have the upper hand still Graceful James is back donw to a winning ma

1st Stepover 11/2 - 60 2nd Tamarillo Grove 9/1 - 55 3rd Lovato 5/2 3rd Fields Of Fortune 7/2 Stepover is now 6lb higher than his last win, but he is in such great form lately. Lorcan Williams is an interesting jockey booking and his 7lb  claim will come in handy. But he has teamed up with Alex Hales 4 times and won 3 this year. Stepover will love the ground, the track should suit well. I can see why Stepover scored well. Tamarillo Grove needs an all time best to win, but he is in a rich vein of form and has a good relationship with Sean Houlihan where their form looks like this - 12, 1. 2, 1, 3. the going and the track should suit, and i am sure he will run well, but he will need to find more here. Lovato could be better than this lot and could be well in based on his last run. He came back after over a year off and ran very well in a better class.
