Both are drawn out quite wide so they need to get into a good position Southern France has never been this far, but Aidan is a master at Long distance flat horses. 3rd in the St Leger, this horse is the class act of the race. If he gets the distance, he will go very close. He is top rated but has a very good weight here as he is only 3.  Stars Over The Sea won the Trail over C&D by 10L. and was only put up 4lb for that, and he beat Golden Spear that day, however there is only a 4lb gain in Golden Spears favour, i am not sure that's enough to reverse the form.
