Pertemps Final  1st C'est Difference 8/1 - 70 2nd Absolutely Doyen 12/1 - 60 3rd Lavida Avida 18/1 - 45   C'est Difference needs to improve but he is lightly raced and could well find more. Has beaten quite a few of these though, and he ticks a lot of boxes.   Absolutely Doyen also will enjoy the ground and the trip, the track should suit also. Similar profile to C'est Difference with 4 wins on the bounce and could still be improving.  Lavida Avida has been beaten by C'est Difference but the tables have turned in the ratings so it wont be as easy. Trip and going is fine and she has a placed effort at Cheltenham over shorter. Could be interesting  Sorry for lack of write up, but the systems do the talking with the stats anyway. All 3 of these could go very well and i hope one wins. My Selection: C'est Difference 8/1

1st Wakool 25/1 - 60 2nd Maxxum 6/1 - 50 3rd Glimpse Of Gala 25/1 - 45 Another very close race. Wakool just took it, he will love the soft and the distance too. He won the Rendlesham last time out and now is back up to a career high of 142, so carries 11st 9lb here. He certainly has claims, but from a smaller stable he is getting somewhat ignored. Never been to Cheltenham but i would not be concerned as he is a good jumper.  Maxxum is the main hope for Gordon Elliott. He won the Pertempts Qualifier in December but then disappointed in February. It could be because he wants soft ground, which he gets here. He is lightly raced and only 6. He could still be improving. I would also worry about 11st 12lb he has to worry Glimpse Of Gala wears cheekpieces for the first time. He will love this ground and will love it even more if it rains. I would be unsure about if he gets Cheltenham as only came once but it was a bumper. However he stays well and he could surprise  This is a ...

1st Pileon 16/1 - 70 2nd Sire Du Berlais 11/2 - 65 3rd Ballyandy 18/1 - 55 Pileon came a very close 2nd in the Martin Pipe 2 years ago off a mark of 138, comes he went up to 143 and today he comes here off 135. He won a qualifyer at Sandown, beaten The Cob, then was beaten back here in January, where he didnt jump well. I think the system likes him because he is unexposed at this disance with winning at Sandown over 3m, the Cheltenham was good but the better ground could help. He was right up there despite a mistake and it was only over the last fence he really faded but there wasnt anything too close, so was eased down. The hustle and bustle of the race should suit as it didn in the Martin Pipe, and the ground is fine (it was soft in the Martin Pipe). He is only 2lb higher than winning 2 years ago, before he went to the Martin Pipe. Its definitely a risky one, however if he can recapture the run in the Martin Pipe he will be bang there. Gordon Elliott likes to win these big hand...

1st Unowhatimeanharry 33/1 - 65 2nd Southfield Harvest 14/1 -60 - NR 3rd Imperial Alcazar 5/1 - 50 3rd Mrs Milner 14/1 - 50 4th Come On Teddy 10/1 - 45 4th Everglow 33/1- 45 Quite close as 4th place was Everyglow and Come On Teddy who scored 45 Unowhatimeanharry is getting on now at the grand age of 13. Now this is where my system fails a bit, because in his prime Unowhatimeanharry was at the top of his game, but in his twilight years he is nowhere near that standard. He is a C&D winner and did win last year aged 12 in a similar standard to today. Although it was a Class 2, the average rating was 136 and in this race its 137. Since coming 3rd in the Stayers hurdle here his stats at Cheltenham are very uninspiring 10, 8, 16, 10. He scored so well but this is based on his whole career. He could get into the places but i wouldnt feel confident. Ground is fine and trip is fine.It would be lovely to see him win though. Southfield Harvest is very likely raced for a 7yo. He stays an...
