I am still inclined to think Billesdon Brook is the one to beat, with his speed stats. But ST's trainer is in form and stats are good. 1st Upstaging 20/1 - 70 2nd Vibrant Chords 4/1 - 60 3rd Go Far 14/1 - 50 Upstaging has been off the track for 206 days, so its a big ask, especially stepping up in class as well. However he always does his best, and the going and track are fine for him. I personally think he will need the run but he is a silly price at 20/1 Vibrant Chords won here at Goodwood last time out, the step up to 6f shouldn't pose a problem, as he has won at 6f. 4lb rise for last win, but should go close. Go Far won this last year, he is 1lb higher than that win, but his jockey claims 7lb. One not mentioned is Kadrizzi for Dean Ivory, he scored well just not high enough, and Moonraker 12/1 who will like the going here My Selection: Upstaging 20/1 

1st Arlecchino's Leap 12/1 - 110 2nd Russian Soul 13/2 - 95 3rd Pastoral Player 7/1 - 90 4th Good Luck Charm 16/1 - 70 This was a very good race to do. Lots of stats to get stuck into. Looks very competitive. Arlecchino's Leap was well beaten last time out on his return from a long break. However he always needs a run after a break and his stats for his 2nd run after a break is 2 & 1. So you will expect to see a better horse today. He has never been out the places in 4 runs during May, and has won 1. He also won this race last year off the same mark, beaten Good Luck Charm by half a length, and because of claims etc. he should still be able to beat GLC.  He should go well again. Only worry is the trainer is not really firing in the winners. Russian Soul won by a sh last time out but was put up 6lb by the handicapper. He drops slightly in grade here, and he won with Dougie Costello, who takes the ride again which is promising. He will love the going and the track...

1st Castle Harbour 9/2 - 115 2nd Shady McCoy 4/1 - 80 3rd Gossiping 10/3 - 60 3rd Muthawathea 13/2 Won't take long on this as the race is soon. Castle Harbor was the clear winner here, His last run although 3rd was pretty impressive as the 2 in front of him have gone on to win a Group 3 and a Listed race. I am happy to stick with him. 1st Folk Talk 12/1 - 45 2nd Masar 6/4 - 40 3rd Kick On Kick On 6/1 - 30 Kick On Kick On hould by rights come top here as he has had a previous run, but he didn't. Mainly because his trainer has not had a winner for 14 days but has sent out 24 runners. Where as Folk Talk and Masar's trainer is flying, especially with first time out horses. They have a 50% strike rate. Martin Lane who rides Folk Talk has a better strike rate than Buick does when teaming up with Appleby, thats why Folk Talk has come top. 1st Red Tornado 6/1 - 110 2nd Excellent Team 3/1 - 45 3rd Rossetti 11/2 - 45 3rd Burning Heat 15/2 - 45 This system suggests it s a race between the Skelton pair. Skelton has a 40% strike rate at the moment, and nearly 50% strike rate when Dan Skelton is on board. Dan Skelton rides Excellent Team, however looking at the pair it does make sense that he rides that one, as Red Tornado is top weight here, and Bridget Andrews takes off a handy 3lbs. Red Tornado is 3 from 2 at 2 miles, the loss was last time out in a Grade 3. He has been dropped 2lb in the handicap for that run, and he ran a 3rd off this handicap mark over slightly further. The going is perfect and the track will suit. He will go well. Excellent Team has been given a chance by the handicapper. Dropped 2lb for his last run, where he came 2nd. He was beaten by a horse he was giving 13lb too. That horse has since gone onto win again in this class race. Beating a horse who is rated higher than ET. I think both will...

1st Icebuster 11/1 - 65 2nd Jack Of Diamonds 16/1 - 60 3rd Boycie 7/1 - 50 These 3 were pretty close together in this. Icebuster's last win came a year ago over todays distance 3lb higher than today. It was soft that day and he won't get that here, but its also a drop in class. He has run well over further lately, which is interesting, as this is a big drop. But it is a winning distance for him, in fact he has won twice at this distance and has only won 4 times in his career. His last win had Adam Kirby on board and Adam takes the ride again. He rode the horse last time out, so interesting he rides again. Jack Of Diamonds hasn't won for over a year, but he comes here 15lb lower in the handicap. That was on Tapeta, and he hasn't won on turf for nearly 2 years, however he is dropping to a winnable, only 4lb higher than that win. So it could be interesting. He does like it here, and has run 7 times and only been out the top 3 twice. But only winning once. And on...
