Henrys Friend was very impressive in his scoring. He has won a Grade 2 Novice chase over C&D. The track is perfect, the going is great, he would have no worries if a bit of rain came. If i were to have one slight concern, that would be that he normally needs his first run of the season. The Changing Man won the Reynoldstown over C&D which Henrys Friend won the previous year, so if you like Henrys Friend, you must take TCM seriously. The track is fine, and although he has only won once at 3m it was over C&D in a Grade 2, and in 7 attempts at 3m he has been in the places 5 times, everything suggests this consistent horse will be there or thereabouts.
