  1st Minnie Hauk 7/2 - 50 2nd Giselle 15/2 - 45 3rd Whirl 6/1 - 30   These 3yo races can be difficult to do systems on, but they can still be a good enough guide to help.   The rain that has fallen, so far, seems to have made little difference to the going, however you will need to keep an eye on this. If it goes soft, then it will boost the chances of Minnie Hauk and Whirl. Desert Flower the winner of the 1000gns steps up half a mile in distance to try and do something not often seen, in fact Love was the last filly to achieve this in 2020, then before that it was a 20-year gap. Her immediate breeding suggests this will be a littel bit of a stretch for her,  she does have some stamina on the dam's side, plus she has the dreaded stall 1!! Only 5% of winners have come from that stall. It can be done, as Adayar did it a few years ago, but it won't be easy.   Minnie Hauk topped this and showed up well, she will not mind any rain and good is perfectly fin...

  1st You Got To Me 12/1 - 45 2nd Forest Fairy 7/1 - 50 3rd Seaward 66/1 - 35 I am not a fan of this system, didnt sit to right and im not sure why. However, stats are stats and thats what we have here. Firstly i will address the stalls, which i do every year. 12 runners and stalls 1-3 are not very good, and stall 1 really is the worst. Caught You Looking, Dance Sequence and Secret Satire have these stalls. This is definitely a negative but its not to say they cannot win.   This system suggest Ralph Beckett should win as his 3 fillies are in the top 3! Forest Fairy is unbeaten and that unbeaten run includes the Cheshire Oaks, which is not known to produce many Oaks winners, but Enable came that route. So the distance should be fine the going fine. My only worry is that her wins have come on flat tracks and although Chester is quite a tight track, it doesnt have the undualtions of Epsom, and it takes some getting.  You Got To Me is another from the Ralph Beckett stabl...
