He has been dropped 3lb and Ozzie The Oscar is up 3lb, so a nice 6lb swing for San Benedeto, but is it enough? San Benedeto's stats here are 2, 1, 4, 4 , One of theose 4th's was this race last year, he is 5lb lower today but last year Bryony had a 5lb claim. He was only 2L away in 4th though. He scores well as his trainer is in form, he wont mind the going, and Bryony Frost gets on well with him. Could be ew value. Paul Nicholls is throwing 3 at this race, but he has sent 10 runners here in the last few years, and only managed 2 winners. But he has 3 good chances. Cyrname is favourite and deservedly so, he came 3rd on seasonal reappearance to Mister Whitaker who went on to be 3rd in the Bet Victor Gold Cup at Cheltenham last week. The favourite is hotly fancied and he has dropped right down in the handicap, however he won last time out which was on average 9lb lower than this race. And he was put up 8lb for a 2L win, which is very harsh. Locommotion won at Chelmford off this rating in February. Also, a C&D winner off 3lb's lower. C& D form is 1, 5, 1, 4, 6 Jabarout is reletivly unexposed, he can be forgiven for his 3rd last time out becaue of an awkward start, was 4 wide the whole race, and ran on for 3rd. He has stall 1 this time. I wouldn't rule him out. Pass The Cristal is 4lb under his last win which was at Chelmsford. This race is slightly easier than the last few, but his last few runs, he has come last which is a worry.
