Top Tips 10/8/13
Broxbourne |
Due to some issues, i have not been able to select some main top tips from my shortlist, or write a piece. So i am posting my shortlist, with one view on a horse. I hope from this you can select some nice winners. I will separate the main ones that stood out
Main Tips
1:30 Ascot - Broxbourne 4/1 (nap)
Only horse i will write something about, mainly because i know the horse so well. She comes here with every chance, up 5lb for her last win which was a very impressive win, although only winning by 1/2l, but after having an operation on her ears, i think she had some cyst which were causing her some pain. Since then she has won both her 2 starts. She is an out and out stayer, and although back to 2 miles she will want a quick pace to test the others to their limit, and having 2 stablemates in the race could prove crucial. Homeric could be a big danger. Their last race Homeric carried 9lb more in the weights and was 9lb higher in the handicap, whilst today he only carries 1lb more in the weights and 1lb more in the Handicap. So although it all shifts in his favour, that day she was going away and he a made no impression on her in the last furlong. She was also coming back from a 3 month break. And since then she has improved again. I personally think she will be hard to beat, if she is, beaten it will be by a small margin
12:55 Ascot - Rosearrow 15/2 (Paddy Power)
4:10 Newmarket - I'm So Glad 14/1 e/w
5:20 Newmarket - Breden 7/2 - £45
5:55 Killbeggan - Cailin Annamn 6/5 - £22
6:25 Killbeggan - Lancing 10/11
Lucky 15 e/w
1:45 Haydock - Invincible Hero 14/1
3:10 Redcar - JoBurg 7/1
3:45 Redcar - West Leake Hare 5/1
5:55 Nemwarket - Big Time Billy 8/1
£80 stake - £67 returns
System Pick
1st Conduct 7/2 - 65
2nd Clayton 7/1 - 60
3rd Strictly Sliver 8/1 - 45
4th Anomaly 5/1 - 30
4th Ningara 4/1 - 30
4th True To Form 20/1 - 30
Conduct really stood out on this, and looks the horse to beat. Even Conducts breeding is good, 67% of Selkirk's offspring have won at the track. Strictly Silver cam top of the speed pile by quite a bit, in fact all points earned where based on speed over track, distance and going.
