Last 2 runs have been here at Brighton, and they have been 2, 1.  Won nicely last time out. Went up 4lb but today Ryan Powell takes off 3lb. Looking at the stalls the 2nd place was from a very wide stall, the win came from stall 3, and today Excellent Aim runs from stall 4. Will be hard to beat.


4:20 Lingfield - Black Truffle 8/1 e/w - £15

stats over C&D are 3, 3, 1, 1. And has raced here over 1f shorter and came 3rd so, he has 100% place race here. Last run here was a win, today he is carrying 7lb less in the weights and is up 4lb in the handicap. So it looks promising. William Buick takes the ride and he wears Eye Shields for the first time, he normally wears headgear, but a change in the type of headgear could help, escially as the kick back at Lingfield has been quite bad recently, and he is a hold up horse


8:20 Newmarket - Nardin 7/1 e/w

Mezzotint 14/1 looks interesting her, application of headgear coould work plus Adam Kirby is coming in to ride only him at this meeting. I think he comes with a chance, however the horse i think also has a very good chance is Nardin, she has been so consistent, but only getting her head in front once. She is tried in first time Cheek Pieces and that might just be the answer for her to take the race. I am very confident she will not be out the top 3
