2nd Forest Fairy 7/1 - 50

3rd Seaward 66/1 - 35

I am not a fan of this system, didnt sit to right and im not sure why. However, stats are stats and thats what we have here. Firstly i will address the stalls, which i do every year. 12 runners and stalls 1-3 are not very good, and stall 1 really is the worst. Caught You Looking, Dance Sequence and Secret Satire have these stalls. This is definitely a negative but its not to say they cannot win. 

 This system suggest Ralph Beckett should win as his 3 fillies are in the top 3!

Forest Fairy is unbeaten and that unbeaten run includes the Cheshire Oaks, which is not known to produce many Oaks winners, but Enable came that route. So the distance should be fine the going fine. My only worry is that her wins have come on flat tracks and although Chester is quite a tight track, it doesnt have the undualtions of Epsom, and it takes some getting. 

You Got To Me is another from the Ralph Beckett stable and she won the Oaks Trial at Lingfield which has also produced 3 winners of the Oaks. I think Lingfield is a better test due to its undulating nature. She wont mind if a bit a rain i should think and the distance is fine. She has her claims

Seaward was not too far away from Forest Fairy in the Cheshire Oaks, so as with the others, the distance is fine and the ground should be fine. 

Of the others i have an ante poste bet on Ylang Ylang as 1m 4f should be her distance, i thought she ran great in the 1000gns despite needing further, and the other O'Brien horse Rubies Are Red, who was 2nd to You Got To Me and over slighter further would have got to her and gone past. I think Aidan personally will win but would love to see Ralph Beckett win this as well. However, i will stick to the system and You Got To Me i will follow here, but i would fancy Rubies Are Red to also go close on their 1st and 2nd last time out.
