Quite close as 4th place was Everyglow and Come On Teddy who scored 45

Unowhatimeanharry is getting on now at the grand age of 13. Now this is where my system fails a bit, because in his prime Unowhatimeanharry was at the top of his game, but in his twilight years he is nowhere near that standard. He is a C&D winner and did win last year aged 12 in a similar standard to today. Although it was a Class 2, the average rating was 136 and in this race its 137. Since coming 3rd in the Stayers hurdle here his stats at Cheltenham are very uninspiring 10, 8, 16, 10. He scored so well but this is based on his whole career. He could get into the places but i wouldnt feel confident. Ground is fine and trip is fine.It would be lovely to see him win though.

Southfield Harvest is very likely raced for a 7yo. He stays and he will love the ground. No experience at Cheltenham but his half brother came a very close 2nd in this race in 2014, so it shouldnt be an issue. He is fitted with Cheekpieces for the first time and im not worried as his siblings also wore headgear. There is not much stats to go on, which is surprising he scored so well, but what he has achieved has been consistant. He could run well and the headgear is very interesting.

Imperial Alcazar is very similar to Southfield Harvest in that he is still lightly raced but very consistant. He last race was on heavy ground, but he does go well on soft and i suspect slightly better ground would suit him. Distance is fine and he has won at Cheltenham over hurdles. He was well beaten in a Grade 3 at Haydock, but looking at his other runs, its possibly worth ignorning that one. He can go well in this. 

Mrs Milner was 2nd to On The Blind Side here at Cheltenham, over half a furlong further.  Was a very good run as On The Blind Side went on to win again and place 3 times. Based on that run she could go very well. 

I am going against my system, although it would be nice to see Unowhatimeanharry win i am not sure he can. Southfield Harvest is now a non runner so i will go with Imperial Alcazar! 

Due to Southfield Harvest being a non runner  i have added the 4th placed scorers

  1st Mr Vango 7/1 - 55 2nd O'Connell 7/1 - 45 2nd Nassalam 22/1 - 45   3 horses on 40 - Haiti Couleurs, Monbeg Genius and Collectors Item. Mr Vango came clear here the rest were all very close indeed.  Mr Vango is so consistent he will stay all day, he jumps well, the ground will be fine, although he would probably prefer some rain. He has never been to Chepstow, but his stats suggest the track will not be an issue. The only slight negative would be the quick turn around from his last race.  O'Connell  is very similar to Mr Vango in that he stays, the ground in his case is perfect, my only negative is in 7 attempts he has not won going left-handed and only placed once. He definitely prefers right-handed tracks. If that doesn't inconvenience him, he will have a chance. Nassalam has not been the same horse of late. Since winning this race in 2023 he has only completed a race once in 6 tries, with 5 P's next to his name. It does mean because of that he has slipped...
