2nd Cantlow 4/1 - 85
3rd Cause Of Causes 6/1 -70

As expected it's a very close race, with nothing between a lot of them. Urgent De Gregaine just got to the top. He was an unexpected winner over C&D in January and came 2nd in the big race in Prague at the beginnng of October after a break. Which will put him spot on for this again, he loves these marathon distances.

Cantlow is a grand old boy who was 2nd behind Urgent De Gragaine in January. Then 3rd Behind Cause Of Causes at the Festival, he will run well, he always does here. Since 2016 he is 1, 2, 3 over C&D

Cause Of Causes won over C&D at the Festival, his Cheltenham form is 2nd to none with stats of 3, 7, 2, 1, 1, 5, 1.Course form is everything here even more so on the Cross Country course where his form is 5, 1. Unfortunetely he tends to need a run or 2 after a break.

I will stick with the system but i would not be surprised to see the other 2 there either

  1st Corach Rambler 11/2 - 85 2nd Delta Work 18/1 - 60 3rd Galia Des Liteaux 25/1 - 50 3rd Aint That A Shame 50/1 - 50 3rd Chambard 66/1 - 50 3rd Noble Yeats 16/1 - 50 (FYI 4th Vanillier & Mac Tottie 45, 5th Nassalam, Limerick Lace, Run Wild Fred 40. 6th Latenightpass, Minella Indo & Eklat De Rire 35) I kind of feel disappointed that only one horse i like got into the top here. It does contain 2 previous winners of the race and after doing the system, i will conceed that Corach Rambler has a massive chance to follow up here, however we all saw the effort he put in at Cheltenham, it blew me away and it was well reported exactly how tired he was after the race. That worries me as it wasnt that long ago, althougth everything points to another very good run.
