Unioniste has been aimed at this race, and the going should be ok over this extra distance. Mountainous has won this race twice now, but i would be worried that the race will not be the slog it normally is. However his trainer will have him ready and she knows how to train a winner of this race. He is approaching 12 though, and this is a big ask for him to win again. Emperors Choice is an old favourite of mine, he won this 2 years ago. I think he is another who would excel in a good old slog. Onenightinvienna could be a worthy bet here.
