Jagwar is the only runner coming back from a break and making his seasonal debut here, so wont be easy off 12st, although he is a big horse. He is 2/2 over C&D, he will love the ground also, he has every chance, if fit enough, he is on his highest career mark.

Colonel Harry is another on his highest career mark which won't make it easy. Going and distance is fine, although i do have a worry about Cheltenham, his stats suggest it should suit him however, he is a 6th and a fell here, the 6th was in Turners though so not too bad. That would be my only worry here, he is against a course specialist, he would have to be at the top of his game. 

Il Ridoto was 6th in this last year and is 8lb lower this year,  and was 2nd in this in 2023 and is now 2lb lower, so i dont think you could rule him out, he will like the ground and the trip, he has ran over C&D 8 times placed in 4 and won one. So, at his price, i think he does have a good ew price. 

Its not easy but Jagwar is the horse to beat if he is fit enough
