1st Ivane SP - 50

2nd Tomie Beau SP - 45

 

Both of these were clear of all the others.

Ivane fell at the 2nd fence when upped to 3m 2f so we dont know if he stays but he does look like a proper stayer. He had a confidence run last time out over hurdles and won. He has won at Sedgefield over fences at 2m 5f , his stats suggest the track, the going will be spot on for him. There is a lot to like, he just needs to find more improvement at this distance.

Tommie Beau is such a great horse, so consistant. He was 3rd in this last year and is 6lb lower than that day,  so thats a positive however, he once again carries 12st and thats a lot of weight to carry. He was very tired last year at the last and lost 2nd when carrying 12st, he could be vulnerable to an improver. 

I actually though Bumpy Evans had a great chance in this, unfortunately he only scored 15. The ground and track are perfect though so expect a big run
