08/03/25 2:25 Sandown - The Imperial Cup

1st Ooh Betty 11/1 - 50

1st Lump Sum 8/1 - 50

2nd Hardy Du Seuil 28/1 - 45

3rd King William Rufus 16/1 -40

3rd Go Dante 7/1 - 40

As you can see this race is really tight. Tintintin and Knickerbockerglory were next on 35.

Ooh Betty  scored well, she was 3rd in a Grade 2 Mares hurdle last time and the winner and 2nd are off to Cheltenham. She is a C&D winner, the ground is percet and she could run well here.

Lump Sum carries top weight, track should be fine and distance, my only slight worry is that he probably would prefer it to be good-soft. He will have it all to do off top weight but he is rated 8lb better than the next

Hardy Du Seuil has been running quite well on soft recently, but his stats suggest that maybe good ground suits him better. He goes well at Sandown having won here before and the trip is perfect. He was only beaten about a length by Knickerbockerglory last time and if the better ground suits then 28/1 to Knickerbockerglorys 12/1 is very generous. Ill also point out although he didnt score as well (25) Wreckless Eric was another who was half a length away and this good ground will suit him very well.

King William Rufus will love the going and distance and Sandown should suit, he could go well.

Go Dante id be concerned about the ground, he needs soft to be at his best, but he is a C&D winner.

As i say its very close but im hoping the system has the winners, so will go for both

My Selection: Ooh Betty 11/1 & Lump Sum 8/1
