2nd Facile Vega 13/8 - 55

3rd Rosy Redrum 33/1 - 50

4th American Mike 9/4 - 40

I dont really like doing systems on the Bumper horses because these systems work much better when there are a lot more stats to go on. I am hoping the winner is named above, but i hope this system might find a viable ew option if you do not fancy the short prices of the fron two in the betting.

Now lets face it American Mike and Facile Vega should battle it out for the top spot, but a lot of firms are giving up to 4 places and Bet365 are going down to 10 places.

I wont go into detail as there really isnt much to talk about, Poetic Music has won at Cheltenham, Top Dog has clocked the fastest speed in a bumper followed by Ocean Of Mercy (35). All attributes i like to see in a bumper race.

I am absolutely delighted to see Rosy Redrum up here because i backed her ante post, and think she can run a very nice race, i am not convinced she will beat the top two and Top Dog beat her last time, but although Good-Soft when they last met i think the ground was worse than that and she has a great turn of foot so the better ground, despite the rain thats come i think will see her in a better light. 

Anyway i am not going to do a my selection here but i wouldnt put you off any of these runners here and if there is an upset then i am hoping its one of the 3  big priced runners named

  1st Mr Vango 7/1 - 55 2nd O'Connell 7/1 - 45 2nd Nassalam 22/1 - 45   3 horses on 40 - Haiti Couleurs, Monbeg Genius and Collectors Item. Mr Vango came clear here the rest were all very close indeed.  Mr Vango is so consistent he will stay all day, he jumps well, the ground will be fine, although he would probably prefer some rain. He has never been to Chepstow, but his stats suggest the track will not be an issue. The only slight negative would be the quick turn around from his last race.  O'Connell  is very similar to Mr Vango in that he stays, the ground in his case is perfect, my only negative is in 7 attempts he has not won going left-handed and only placed once. He definitely prefers right-handed tracks. If that doesn't inconvenience him, he will have a chance. Nassalam has not been the same horse of late. Since winning this race in 2023 he has only completed a race once in 6 tries, with 5 P's next to his name. It does mean because of that he has slipped...
