This system was done by mistake, i was supposed to be doing Saturdays race at the same time. I didnt check the race name! So thought i would write it up as i have done it now. 

Smarty Wild came top here and quite nicely too. His last win came at Kempton where he beat Pistol Whipped, who happens to be running in the race on Saturday i was supposed to do. Although it was a class lower that today the average rated was 135 and today its a class higher but the average is 132. He is 4lb higher than that win. He will love this ground with stats of 1, 1, 1, 16, 6, 3, 4, 1, and over fences at Ascot he is 3, 3. 

Lust For Glory wears cheekpieces for the first time, and she is a winner on this ground before, but her form is a bit in and out with a refuse to race last time. She has run at Ascot twice but not over fences, she did place though so the track should suit. If she plays ball and runs she has a big chance, but she has been reluctant lately. The stats certainly think she could go well and if those cheekpieces work then i wouldnt rule her out. 

Pilbara loves the ground and wouldnt mind rain either. He is also quite tempermental, and if he puts in a good round he has every chance, but his form since joining Suzy Smith is 2, PU, 1, PU, The win came in a similar race to this with just 4 runners and thats what i noticed too, his recent good form have been in fields 5 or less. And the really poor runs are 13+ so its unknown about 8 runners, but he could go ok.

Yes Indeed is the issue for me as i cannot compare the stats so didnt score well, and Flegmatik scored 20 but does run well fresh.

  1st Mr Vango 7/1 - 55 2nd O'Connell 7/1 - 45 2nd Nassalam 22/1 - 45   3 horses on 40 - Haiti Couleurs, Monbeg Genius and Collectors Item. Mr Vango came clear here the rest were all very close indeed.  Mr Vango is so consistent he will stay all day, he jumps well, the ground will be fine, although he would probably prefer some rain. He has never been to Chepstow, but his stats suggest the track will not be an issue. The only slight negative would be the quick turn around from his last race.  O'Connell  is very similar to Mr Vango in that he stays, the ground in his case is perfect, my only negative is in 7 attempts he has not won going left-handed and only placed once. He definitely prefers right-handed tracks. If that doesn't inconvenience him, he will have a chance. Nassalam has not been the same horse of late. Since winning this race in 2023 he has only completed a race once in 6 tries, with 5 P's next to his name. It does mean because of that he has slipped...
