Nope me Neither!!! i have not idea how the rank outsider came out top. There is not much form to go on so why did Soldier On Parade do well? Firstly he has a visor fitted for the first time which will be interesting. He actually has done little wrong but was beaten by Cabot Cliffs and Longclaw in a Listed race. After 3 runs over hurdles that was his blip, then he came back and won a 2 mile flat race on the All Weather. And then when Tritonic staked his claim as a leading contender of the Triumph, Solider on Parade failed miserably. Connections obviosuly think he is capable of better asthey keep putting him in htese better races, and he beat Hiconic who was 2nd to Duffle Coat when Soldier on Parade failed, so he has some ability. You have to hope the visor does the trick. good ground has seen his best runs and worse, but it looks like he needs good. I think Cheltenham will suit But we shall see.

 Hell Red could be interesting here, only 3 runs, on good ground he won on his British debut impressively, stamping his claim as a potential good horse. His 2nd run he pulled up with breathing issues and had a wind op. Then probably got stuck in the mud. I think we will see a better horse on better ground. 

Longclaw came 4th behind Duffle Coat in the race Soldier of Fortune didnt run well in. Cabot Cliffs also came in front of him. He will like the ground and probably has to find something to beat some here.

My system doesnt work so well in these types of race because horses like Houx Gris who has only run once over here and was well beaten in a Grade 1, by Nassalam and Adagio. Nassalam  is 18/1 and Houx Gris is favourite. So really this race is very hard to predict, however the oens who scored here, have experience and if you can get some extra places, for example you cane get 10 places for Soldier Of Love at 22/1! so for that reason i will stick with my system, because its Cheltenham!

  1st Mr Vango 7/1 - 55 2nd O'Connell 7/1 - 45 2nd Nassalam 22/1 - 45   3 horses on 40 - Haiti Couleurs, Monbeg Genius and Collectors Item. Mr Vango came clear here the rest were all very close indeed.  Mr Vango is so consistent he will stay all day, he jumps well, the ground will be fine, although he would probably prefer some rain. He has never been to Chepstow, but his stats suggest the track will not be an issue. The only slight negative would be the quick turn around from his last race.  O'Connell  is very similar to Mr Vango in that he stays, the ground in his case is perfect, my only negative is in 7 attempts he has not won going left-handed and only placed once. He definitely prefers right-handed tracks. If that doesn't inconvenience him, he will have a chance. Nassalam has not been the same horse of late. Since winning this race in 2023 he has only completed a race once in 6 tries, with 5 P's next to his name. It does mean because of that he has slipped...
