14/11/20 2:15 Cheltenham - System

1st Mister Fisher 5/1 -70

2nd Happy Diva 16/1 - 55

3rd Simply The Betts 13/2 - 50

4th Siruh Du Lac 10/1 - 45

Mister Fisher was clear here, he runs well on debut but with 2 2nds to his name on season debut, i would be a little worried. However, he is a Grade 2 winner over fences in a Novice and has won over fences at Cheltenham over 1/2 a furong further. He was also 4th here at the Festival in the Marsh Novice Chase. The other small worry would be his trainer has only ever won this race once in 2003. He has had 27 runners in the race. Bookies are paying 1/4 odds and i cannot see him out of the top 3 to be honest. My system says he has the best overall form though, so i will always believe in my system.

Happy Diva won this last year so we know she likes the track the distance, and the ground is perfect. She is 7lb higher in the handicap so will need a best here. She does have the benefit of a run behind her.She is one that has never won on season debut, so you will see a better horse today. Her stats at Cheltenham over fences are BD, 2, 2, 1, 2. So expect her to run well.

Simply The Betts just loves a course like Cheltenham. He also runs well fresh, so he will have big claims. He is 2/2 over fences at this. He was last seen beating Happy Diva into 2nd in the Brown Advisory at the Festival, but that brings me onto the 4th horse Siruh Du Lac

Siruh Du Lac was last seen falling in the Brown Advisory, it was a very heavy fall which is a worry when they take a tumble like that and run again. But the thing about the was he was in with a massive chance of winning. Simply The Betts still had not passed him that day, but SDL dived at the fence.

Simply The Betts went up 8lb after that but Siruh Du Lac has stayed on the same mark. Now for me thats interesting as there was nothing in it in the last race. SDL has also had a wind op and he also moved to David Pipe. SDL Cheltenham Fences form looks like this 1, 1, PU, F. I think this boy could run well.

One not mention is Saint Sonnet, who is unexposed so didnt score much, Paul Nicholls can never be ignored with his runners

So i will stick with Mister Fisher but if Siruh Du Lac jumps well he is the one to catch, so watch out for him at a big price

 My Selection: Mister Fisher 5/1
