As usual i would hope the winner came from the above. Nearly al the others scored 20. Speredek is the one not to score any.
I'd Better Go Now comes from the in form yard of the Skeltons. He won on his season debut in a similar contest, albeit a class lower and was put up 8lb for his easy win. His stats on good are 7, 1, 1, 1. The 7 was over 2m the other are 2m 5 and a half and 2 over 3m. He is 2 from 3 at this distance, and is lighly raced for a 7yo, so could well have more to come. My slight concern is that from 2 runs he hasnt been in the top 3 on a track like Cheltenham. But they were over 2m 3f and 2m 2f, so maybe this trip on this track maybe ok.
Tobefair always runs his heart out. This is a big drop in grade from when contesting the Stayers Hurdle at the festival and coming 6th. Looking at his form though, he always tends to need his first run of the season. So, whatever he does here, he will be better when you next see him.
Nevilles Cross is only 5 and he won his last race so easily, that it makes sense for him to step up in class. the only concern would be the quick turn around, but his last race wasnt exactly taxing. The average rating in that race though was 120. This is 132, but he won by 20L. He is up a massive 12lb for that run. He could be anything and we shall see how he runs.
