I love races like this, as very competitive.

Yala Enki just scraped through. Although all the runners here will like Heavy but Yala Enki stats are solid on heavy 3, 1, 4, 1, 6, 6, 3, 1.  His haydock stats over fences are 1, 4, 1, 5. the 1, 4, 1 were on soft and heavy the 5th on good ground. So he will like the track, he will love the distance and he relishes the heavy conditions. He has big claims. Connections are in form too.

Lord Mesnil scored very well and i s a nice ew price. He is 3, 1, 1, on heavy. The distance is no issue having won by 9L over further last time out at Haydock, where he is 2/2. and it was soft last time and heavy the time before. He needs to improve, but by the way he won last time, he will not be disgraced in this company.

Vintage Clouds is a lovely horse who loves the heavy going in fact in 9 runs on it, he has never been out the places, but has only won once. He will not be far away as he stays forever. He won the Peter March here last time out. There is lots in his favour.

Steely Addition is 3, 1. on heavy. Not run over this far, but no reason why he wont stay, but probably would prefer a proven stayer this time around

It does contain 2 previous winners of the race and after doing the system, i will conceed that Corach Rambler has a massive chance to follow up here, however we all saw the effort he put in at Cheltenham, it blew me away and it was well reported exactly how tired he was after the race. That worries me as it wasnt that long ago, althougth everything points to another very good run.
