2nd Happy Diva 9/2 - 70
3rd Javert 8/1 -45
3rd Azzuri 40/1 - 45

As you can see the first 2 named were well clear of the others, and the only thing that really pipped it for WT is the fact that his trainer is in great form, but before that Happy Diva really was the standout on all the other stats.

Happy Diva beat Magic of Light in a Listed Mares race last time out, and she can be very competitive again today. Magic Of Light was fancied to win her last race but unseated, but its good form as MOL was in great form before that.  Everything is right again for Happy Diva and she has big claims.

Warriors Tale is headed for the National i expect, so this is a stop gap. But he loves it here and Nicholls has won this race 8 times in its 15 runnings. WT stats at this track are 2, 2, 5, 1, 1, 2. Over C&D he is 1, 1. He also has big claims at a nice price. But dont ignore Nicholls other runners either.

I am a fan of Javert. he won after 869 days off the track and put in another good run at Aintree. Ignore his run at Cheltenham, he has run there twice now and not run well. This a track like Newbury suits him much better.

  1st Corach Rambler 11/2 - 85 2nd Delta Work 18/1 - 60 3rd Galia Des Liteaux 25/1 - 50 3rd Aint That A Shame 50/1 - 50 3rd Chambard 66/1 - 50 3rd Noble Yeats 16/1 - 50 (FYI 4th Vanillier & Mac Tottie 45, 5th Nassalam, Limerick Lace, Run Wild Fred 40. 6th Latenightpass, Minella Indo & Eklat De Rire 35) I kind of feel disappointed that only one horse i like got into the top here. It does contain 2 previous winners of the race and after doing the system, i will conceed that Corach Rambler has a massive chance to follow up here, however we all saw the effort he put in at Cheltenham, it blew me away and it was well reported exactly how tired he was after the race. That worries me as it wasnt that long ago, althougth everything points to another very good run.
