It really was just between Weekender and Time To Study. The favourite Marmelo only scored 10. And i think Clever Cookie has scored so high because of old form, however he came 3rd in April in a Listed race but this race is on average 10lb higher than that, so it will be tough.

Weekenders connections are in flying form lately, with Frankie only riding a few to keep himself safe before Royal Ascot. He is riding with a 36% strike rate and when teaming up with Gosden 67%. Weekender won at this distance at Chelmsford in May and he won very well. He seemed to find the step up in distance last time out too much and the drop back down in distance should play to his strengths.  He beat Time To Study last time out.

Time To Study keeps beating Clever Cookie and i cannot see that reversing anytime soon. The drop in disntace will suit and he should go well.

Marmelo has the form here, but the this faster ground would be a big concern, with his dams side suggestion he will prefer cut.

It does contain 2 previous winners of the race and after doing the system, i will conceed that Corach Rambler has a massive chance to follow up here, however we all saw the effort he put in at Cheltenham, it blew me away and it was well reported exactly how tired he was after the race. That worries me as it wasnt that long ago, althougth everything points to another very good run.
