16/03/18 Cheltenham Gold Cup - System

1st Might Bite 7/2 -  75
2nd American 33/1 - 50
2nd Djakadam 28/1 - 50
3rd Defintely Red 12/1 - 45
4th Road To Respect12/1 - 40

As you would expect this is very tight. But Might Bite came out on top. he is 1/1 on soft and that was when winning the King George. He is full of Class and is the one to beat here.

American was supplemented for this and will love the ground which he is 3/3 on, he is a lovely horse but quite fragile. I personally think he needs more experience, but then im no trainer and Harry Fry wouldn't enter him if he didnt think he was capable.

Defintely Red surely has a cracking chance in the National, he will enjoy the ground and he loves the stamina test, he should go well but his real aim is the National

Djakadam has run well in this race before with stats of 2, 2, 4. i really dont believe he stays the final furlong very well. Don't get me wrong i back him the last 2 years. But he just gets done in the last furlong. He is a class horse, but getting on now.

Road To Respect is very much like Might Bite, would prefer decent ground but has run well in softer conditions. Has an ew chance, not sure he is as classy as Might Bite

My Selection: Might Bite 7/2
