13/01/17 3:35 Warwick - System

1st Krackatoa King 8/1 - 80
2nd Goodtoknow14/1 - 75
2nd Russe Blanc 16/1 - 75

There are 3 on 65 Missed Approach, Cogry and Cresswell Breeze. So as you can see this is a tight race. But according to the stats, there could well be a Kerry Lee winner, seeing as he top 3 are all trained by her. Not sure that's ever happened in a system before. So lets hope its correct.

One For Arthur won this last year before going on to win the Grand National. Russe Blanc won it the previous year. he is now 2lb lower than that win! Krackatoa King is now on the same mark when Russe Blanc won it.

KK is in great form recently, he has never been out the places at Warwick in 3 runs there. In 10 runs on soft he has only ever been out the places twice, and won once. This is harder than his previous runs, but he could go very well, my only concern is that its drying up all the time.

Goodtoknow came 2nd in this last year to One For Arthur and then went on to be 13th in the Grand National. He ran well last year, but the worry is, last year there was a 159 rated horse in the race, which meant he carried a low weight, this year the top rated is 139, and he is rated 138, so he has a big weight to carry here. If he can do that, he is sure to go close, as he stays forever and the ground will not be an issue, He is 1lb higher than his last win, so is creeping back down the handicap.Jamie Moore rides which probably points towards the fact that this horse carries the main hopes of the yard.

Russe Blanc is a goodl old boy. He won this in 2016 and came way down the field last year. He is rated 9lb lower than last year now, and 2lb lower than his win in 2015, also Charlie Poste is back on board, and he was on board when they won in 2016.

I wouldn't put you off either of these but i am sticking with my system

My Selection: Krackatoa King 8/1
