1:55 Haydock - Intense Tango 25/1

Intense tango is now 4lb lower than his last winning run which was here at Haydock over further on soft ground, so any rain here will not be an issue, it was also a much better race than today.

His stats at Haydock are 4, 1, 2, 1. He is a C&D winner. He also comes into form this time of year with stats of  1, 4, 3, 2, 1, 2.

All 3 of his flat wins have come on flat tracks, (2 at Haydock, 1 Musselburgh)

Karl Burke does well at Haydock with his horses, but more interesting is the jockey he has employed. This jockey as only ever ridden at haydock twice and won both.

I think Dance King and Zubayar are their dangers, but both horses are on their right hand side. And what's good about Intense Tango is that he is versatile and if no pace he can lead, in fact his last win was where he led. But he does like to position himself up to be handy.

Its a tough race but if coming back to form i am happy to have a go. He is 25/1 so i think is worth an ew gamble

  1st Corach Rambler 11/2 - 85 2nd Delta Work 18/1 - 60 3rd Galia Des Liteaux 25/1 - 50 3rd Aint That A Shame 50/1 - 50 3rd Chambard 66/1 - 50 3rd Noble Yeats 16/1 - 50 (FYI 4th Vanillier & Mac Tottie 45, 5th Nassalam, Limerick Lace, Run Wild Fred 40. 6th Latenightpass, Minella Indo & Eklat De Rire 35) I kind of feel disappointed that only one horse i like got into the top here. It does contain 2 previous winners of the race and after doing the system, i will conceed that Corach Rambler has a massive chance to follow up here, however we all saw the effort he put in at Cheltenham, it blew me away and it was well reported exactly how tired he was after the race. That worries me as it wasnt that long ago, althougth everything points to another very good run.
