Love it when the mud flys, as my systems can normally pick out a nice winner and i am hoping that today is no exception.

Master Jake was a clear scorer here. He carries top weight, which is not ideal on this type of ground, however his jockey claims a very handy 7lb, and this jockey is not bad either, so i feel quite happy about selecting him. He has raced 3 times on heavy over 2m and stats are 1, 1, 3. He placed here last time out on heavy over 4f further, and i think that was just a bit far, this drop back could be what he needs to get his head in front after a couple of 2nds.

Pret A Thou was well beaten last time out on heavy and has shown some awful form - HOWEVER, and its a big however. His best form has been in February. He just seems to come alive in this month, And is 5 wins from 8 runs. His last win came last year over 2 miles on heavy in February. So watch out for him.

Starkie will like the going. Came 3rd here at the end of December and could go ok, but think he will need to find something to beat Master Jake

It does contain 2 previous winners of the race and after doing the system, i will conceed that Corach Rambler has a massive chance to follow up here, however we all saw the effort he put in at Cheltenham, it blew me away and it was well reported exactly how tired he was after the race. That worries me as it wasnt that long ago, althougth everything points to another very good run.
