Not much to go on with Big River, but what he has done has been good. an he is 2/2 at Kelso. So he is going to score very well. Looking back at his last win which came after over 200 days off the track, the 2nd and 8th horse is now rated 115, so an opening mark of 115 looks quite generous as he is better than this race, and  seeing as he is unexposed. He looks set to run a big race and will be hard to beat.

Zaru's connections are in form and he should go well.

Surprise Vendor is a good old boy, but on recent form he needs to drop further own the handicap before he can be competitive.

  1st Corach Rambler 11/2 - 85 2nd Delta Work 18/1 - 60 3rd Galia Des Liteaux 25/1 - 50 3rd Aint That A Shame 50/1 - 50 3rd Chambard 66/1 - 50 3rd Noble Yeats 16/1 - 50 (FYI 4th Vanillier & Mac Tottie 45, 5th Nassalam, Limerick Lace, Run Wild Fred 40. 6th Latenightpass, Minella Indo & Eklat De Rire 35) I kind of feel disappointed that only one horse i like got into the top here. It does contain 2 previous winners of the race and after doing the system, i will conceed that Corach Rambler has a massive chance to follow up here, however we all saw the effort he put in at Cheltenham, it blew me away and it was well reported exactly how tired he was after the race. That worries me as it wasnt that long ago, althougth everything points to another very good run.
