7:40 Newmarket - Thahab Ifraj 15/8

Not a fan of Newmarket evenings as you all know, mainly because its not a meeting the most consistent horses are sent. There is no good form of many of them, expect possibly this one, and the price does reflect this.

He came back after 215 days off the track, to record a solid 3rd at Salisbury. Obviously now he will be race fit after that run, but also tht race has produced several winners from the back of that race.

Third Rock, who came in just in front of Thahab Ifraj, went on to win in a higher class in his next race. Ejayteekay who was well beaten by TI, went on to also win a race in a higher class. The winner has won again and came 2nd since as well. If the form of this race pans out then Thahab Ifraj must come here with a massive chance


7:10 Newmarket - Blue Geranium 15/8

Another favourite im afraid, and another at the dreaded Newmarket, but the horse does stand out for me.

BG is up 4lb for her last win, but that has put her on a par with the horses ratings of the horses she beat last time out, the fact that she was keen last time out too, means that if she settles, then she could have more to come, but settling in the race will be the key.

Obviously having Frankie on board is a bonus (its probably his best chance of a winner here)

She beat Hollywood Road last time out, who then went on to win his next race. So BG comes here with solid claims. Tellovoi and Ellal are possibly the dangers
