8:50 Kempton - Janoub Nibras 16/1 e/w Ladbrokes

Very tight little contest here and anyone of these has chances. Future Reference looks very nice and for me is a horse to beat, only 3lb higher in the handicap since last win over C&D. Head Of Steam is being backed from 14's into 8/1 and is on the same handicap mark as last C&D win so is another in with a chance. Nassau Storm beat Janoub Nibras decisively at Newbury and although it looks impossible to turn that form around. If Janoub Nibras comes alive here then it can be possible.They are both better off since that run.

However my choice just edges it with me on the positives. 3 out of 3 at Kempton, 2 at 6f 1 at 1m. This is 7f today, but i cannot see if being a problem even though 1m looks ideal. He has been out of form for his new yard, however the return to Kempton could just spark a revival. If you look closesly at his last race here. He is now 7lb lower in the handicap than that win. Although carrying 3lb extra in the weights, he is still better off. Also that race he beat the useful Snowboarder, who has since gone on to be a solid 2nd to Soft Falling Rain in the UAE 2000gns, and has performed ok in Group races.

So although Janoub Nibras watch out for the 3 i mentioned

  1st Corach Rambler 11/2 - 85 2nd Delta Work 18/1 - 60 3rd Galia Des Liteaux 25/1 - 50 3rd Aint That A Shame 50/1 - 50 3rd Chambard 66/1 - 50 3rd Noble Yeats 16/1 - 50 (FYI 4th Vanillier & Mac Tottie 45, 5th Nassalam, Limerick Lace, Run Wild Fred 40. 6th Latenightpass, Minella Indo & Eklat De Rire 35) I kind of feel disappointed that only one horse i like got into the top here. It does contain 2 previous winners of the race and after doing the system, i will conceed that Corach Rambler has a massive chance to follow up here, however we all saw the effort he put in at Cheltenham, it blew me away and it was well reported exactly how tired he was after the race. That worries me as it wasnt that long ago, althougth everything points to another very good run. He has been given a big chance at the weights here, as a lot of you know i am very into the weights carried in this race and at the bottom i will name 4 horses who i would not touch and one of them i actually really liked unti
