3:45 Salisbury - Joyeuse 10/11 (Ladbrokes) NAP - £19.09

I know she is Frankel's half sister, and that's why i took notice of her in the first place. She won her Maiden very well, but what interests me more is her 2nd race, where she came 3rd. She settled right at the back of the field and whilst everyone else gets too work Tom Queally gets going a bit later when the gap arrived, but where as she had to weave her way through the field, the eventual winner Kiyoshi had a nice clear run.

But Joyeuse was running on at the end and although never going quite like Kiyoshi she will certainly have learned a lot in that race, and i am expecting her too take this. And just a quick mention of the horses in the race who she beat.

2nd - Sandiva - gone on to win a G3
6th - Lucky Kristale - gone on to win 2 G2.
7th - Wonderfully - gone onto win a G3 and 5th in G1
9th - Princess Noor - gone onto win a G3
12th - Sacred Aspect - Gone on to win a Listed race

In this race  - Alutiq  was beaten into 5th by Lady Kristale, Dorothy B, is open to more improvement, but needs to step up a lot and her win came on good-soft, Lamar has been beaten a couple of times by Wedding Ring, and there is no reason to see that reversed. Lilbourne Lass has disappointed since her last win, where let's be honest she didn't beat much, her best run was in the Wetherby's Super Sprint, but she hasn't recaptured that form, although 2nd behind Blockade is good. And Wedding Ring came 5th to Joyeuse's 3rd at Royal Ascot, and i cannot see the form being reversed.
