Improved on her first run, when 2nd at Doncaster, she had every chance in the final furlong but had no extra just near the finish, so this step back in distance looks to be ideal. Our Channel looks to be the main danger, but Rawoof has a 5lb advantage on the colts, and she should go very well
2:20 Newton Abbot - Neston Grace 9/4
Top Totti looks the main danger here, but has not run any ground better than good, and was soundly beaten by 8l then and there is no suggestion good - firm will help. NG is 2/2 on this going and won nicely. NG would of learned a lot from her first run over hurdles and looks set to improve on it.
3:40 Beverley - Rocky Ground 5/1 e/w (nap) - £41.25
The Hood seemed to spark a revival into RG, who is thought of as quite decent by connections. He looks to go one better here, although this does look a very competitive race. His stall draw is perfect and 5/1 looks very solid e/w price, although i think he can take this.
6:15 Carlisle - Easy Terms 16/1 e/w
1-1 over C&D. Top weight here but Kevin Stott claims 7lb which will put her into the thick of it. This is a drop in class too. She is also 2lb lower than her last win and this could be a good a chance as any for her to run a big race. 16/1 is certainly overpriced
