Very smart, run a very good race last time out when just being held in Listed Company, the drop down in class will help and he acts well on good ground. Will be hard to beat. just worried he will be very short
System Picks
3:00 Hamilton
1st Done Dreaming 3/1 - 55
2nd Scentpastparadise 7/4 - 50
3rd Lady Del Sol 8/1 - 40
4th Script 9/4 - 25
Script won last time out, however she was put up 6lb for that win, also was only carrying 8st in that race, today she carries an extra 19lb in the weights, also i think she will need more rain. Could be just too much to burdon. Especially as the others although out of form are a lot better treated. My choice here is SCENTPASTPARADISE who is 2lb lower than her last winning run. And since her last run, although she was 6th out of 8, she carried 9st 7lb that day, today it's 15lb less, and with the drop in distance could help her, along with a tongue tie on fot the first time.
Done Dreaming is her danger i think who is 13lb less in the handicap since his last winning run. And from his last race he is carrying 8lb less in the weights. His only win has come at this distance, i do think he will be better over further but so far the extra distance hasn't worked out. So this drop might bring out an improvement.
3:30 Hamilton
1st Grandiloquent 12/1 - 40
2nd Schmooze 13/2 - 35
3rd Brigadoon 5/2 - 30
3rd Lochiel 20/1 - 30
4th Wadacre Sarko 11/4 - 25
Grandiloquent has came top simply because has been running in much better company and has won in better company, but hasn't been quite right for a bit. But this is his debut for his new yard, and that could turn his fortune around, however he is carrying 13lb more in weight that his last run where he came last, and although he dropped 8lb in the handicap for his last run, and the drop in class could help, but i think at present he just has a bit too much weight. Although i expect him to do better thatn last place. There are 3 horses here that have ever chance. Brigadoon, Schmooze and WADACRE SARKO. Wadacre Sarko is my choice as 7lb up int he handicap for his last run, where he won. But that rise is cancelled out as he is carrying 8lb less in the weights, his last race though is something to look at because he hung quite badly, but still won. And with that under his belt he is still improving and can only come on from that. Brigadoon will apprieciate the distance, and is well handicapped. Schmooze needs a career best to take this, and although not out the question it will be hard, as 4lb higher since last win, although is carrying 10lb lessin the wieghts when 2nd last time. So i expect it to be between these 3 at the end. But Wadacre Sarko could have the edge on the other 2.
6:20 Gowran Park
1st Mordanmijobsworth 6/1 - 40
2nd Hail Shower 8/1 - 20
2nd Slim Chance 10/1 - 20
2nd Happy Maverick 20/1 - 20
2nd Jeangeorges 25/1 - 20
3rd Right Divine 7/1 - 15
3rd Jumbo Steps 7/1 - 15
Mordanmijobsworth came out top on the system, but i think he has too much weight. 9lb up in the handicap and 11lb more weight than his last run. It will be tough, although the drop in distance might help. Attire has blinkers applied today and that could well bring out an improvement. She has been consistant and goes up 3lb in the handicap since her 2nd last time out, but she is carrying 11lb more in the weights and although her jockey claims 7lb i still think it's a big ask, although i wouldn't be surprised if she is up there at the end. RIGHT DIVINE is the horse i am going with. 2nd to Jumbo Steps last time out, i think he can reverse that form. Jumbo Steps is carrying 8lb more weight plus up 8lb in the handicap for that win, whereas Right Divine is carrying 5lb more weight but is only 2lb up in the handicap, and that day there was only 1 1/4L seperating them.
