The step in trip could well suit Beckhani, combined with the firmer ground, McCoy on board, and the application of Cheek Pieces, might all help to get Beckhani 1st past the post.

3:15 Southwell - As I Am SP £14.44

Even though she is giving weight all round, As I Am is the one to beat. Put up 13lb for a 22L victory in a Class 4 over todays distance, but last time didn't seem to see out the further trip of 2m 7f, so the drop back down in trip should see her go very well again.

5:00 Musselburgh - Cyflymder 14/1 e/w

Last win came in August 2012 over today's course and distance, with todays Jockey Lucy Alexander on board then as she is today. My only worry is that time he carried 9st and today 10st, however he is 4lb lower than that win. and 2lb lower when he was 2nd here before that. So although he has a tough ask, it wouldn't be a surprise to see him run into a place

7:45 Bangor - Peachey Moment 3/1 (nap)

Paddy Brennan's only ride here. His last winning run came over distance and ground (if it rains overnight) he then has been running over further, and this drop back to his last winning run distance, And also carrying 12lb less in weight and 5lb less in the handicap is big positives. He is another horse running today in first time cheek pieces, and that should pep him up a bit. Looks very dangerous, and the one to beat.

  1st Corach Rambler 11/2 - 85 2nd Delta Work 18/1 - 60 3rd Galia Des Liteaux 25/1 - 50 3rd Aint That A Shame 50/1 - 50 3rd Chambard 66/1 - 50 3rd Noble Yeats 16/1 - 50 (FYI 4th Vanillier & Mac Tottie 45, 5th Nassalam, Limerick Lace, Run Wild Fred 40. 6th Latenightpass, Minella Indo & Eklat De Rire 35) I kind of feel disappointed that only one horse i like got into the top here. It does contain 2 previous winners of the race and after doing the system, i will conceed that Corach Rambler has a massive chance to follow up here, however we all saw the effort he put in at Cheltenham, it blew me away and it was well reported exactly how tired he was after the race. That worries me as it wasnt that long ago, althougth everything points to another very good run.
