Tipped him the last 2 times and he goes well for Geraghty. This looks easier than his previous races, Will be hard to beat

4:05 Stratford - Flying Phoenix 8/1 e/w

Met Rime Avec Gentil last time out Flying Phoenix carried 8lb more in the weights that day but was only 3 1/2L behind, today RAG is carrying 15lb more in the weights, whilst Fly Phoenix is only carrying 2lb more. Of their handicap mark FP is the same where as RAG is 10lb higher in the handicap, effectively meaning 25lb more. Sud Pacifique is a good horse on his day but FP is carrying 14lb less. My main worry would be Tom Wade, who has beaten the very impressive Rosie Probert. But he is another carrying 11lb more than FP. Which suggest he has a great shout here.


4:55 Galway - Pique Sous 9/1 e/w

He met Ted Veale last time on the flat and Ted Veale got the upper hand that day. That day Pique Sous carried more weight that Ted Veale, today it's the other way round, He can certainly gain the upper hand today. He also likes soft stats on soft are 3, 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, 6. The 6 was in a Grade 1 race. Great e/w shout.


8:00 Epsom - Yojimbo 8/1 e/w (nap)

Yojimbo likes it here, his stats are 1, 2, 3, 1, 4, His 4th was over C&D last time out, and although only beaten 3 1/2L he would have to improve on that. But i think he will, why? his 1, 2, 3, 1 all came on good or Good-Soft. Its supposed to be good tomorrow. The 4th was Good-Firm, and i think that is just too quick. His last win over C&D, was the same class, was carrying 3lb more in the weights and 2lb more in the handicap. He loves the course which helps, and has every chance of getting his head in front
