Only beaten by 4 1/2L's last time out over C&D, and has only gone up 1lb for that. The winner was raised 7lb and went on to win by 9L's next time out. And of the horses that have run from that race there have been 2 more winners. His stats over C&D are 1, 1, 3, 2. His 3rd place was when he tried to do it off 9lb higher than today, going down by 6L's. He is only 5lb higher than his last win here. But is 3lb lower in the weights. 

Looking at the other runners in the race Amaury De Lusignan hasn't bee the same since his 8 months off the track. 2lb lower than his last win, and drop in grade too, hasn't won further than 2m 1f though yet. Giant Du Murchu  looks to want firmer ground than this. Wester Ross is the horse to watch out for, won nicely last time out with a visor fitted for the first time but has been raised 7lb for that win, and going 1f further.

Morestead won over C&D last time out, but up in grade and 5lb penalty.
