Being based down in the South West of the country, it's not often Paul Nicholls makes the trip North, so when he does you have to take notice of his runners. Earlier in the day Aeriel has a cracking chance, but i want to concentrate on Salubrious. Firstly he needs the better ground, and Good to Soft  is much better than the heavy ground he encountered last time out, combined with the extra furlong, i think it was just too much, but if you go back to the race before that on soft ground, i think he was a very creditable 2nd to At Fishers Cross, who is flying lately, and it's was At Fishers Cross preferred ground

So he has been running very well in much better company, and i would be surprised if he didn't appreicate the drop back in distance and ground. Also jockey Harry Derham claims a useful 3lbs

  1st Corach Rambler 11/2 - 85 2nd Delta Work 18/1 - 60 3rd Galia Des Liteaux 25/1 - 50 3rd Aint That A Shame 50/1 - 50 3rd Chambard 66/1 - 50 3rd Noble Yeats 16/1 - 50 (FYI 4th Vanillier & Mac Tottie 45, 5th Nassalam, Limerick Lace, Run Wild Fred 40. 6th Latenightpass, Minella Indo & Eklat De Rire 35) I kind of feel disappointed that only one horse i like got into the top here. It does contain 2 previous winners of the race and after doing the system, i will conceed that Corach Rambler has a massive chance to follow up here, however we all saw the effort he put in at Cheltenham, it blew me away and it was well reported exactly how tired he was after the race. That worries me as it wasnt that long ago, althougth everything points to another very good run.
