Ideally he would like better ground than what he is getting here, and not be top weight. However there are a few good points too. Firstly his jockey Paul O'Brien takes 10lb off, he comes here after running in higher class races, and since switching to fences he has not been showing anything, so the switch back to hurdles, could bring out an improvement as his record over hurdles is 7, 2, 1, 1, 1. I am hoping this might spark some life into him, and adding the blinkers should sharpen him up a bit. I think if he can re-create his form of last year over hurdles, then he will be up there at the end. He is back from a little break, but he seems to do ok fresh, so that wont be too much of an issue.
