Todays Nap

8:00 Wolverhampton - Broxbourne 10/11

It's probably well documented that i like this filly and the reasons behind it, and that's why i am confident about putting her as my nap again, because she is a horse i follow. She has gone up 6lbs since her last win, but she is still well in, in the weights in this race, and my only real concern is, i have always said she needs 1m 5f at least, and she is dropping to 1m4f and 50 yards, that 50 yards will be important today,  looking at the competition she has little to worry about and she is still improving. The lightly raced Asterism would be her main danger i should think. But today the race looks pretty straightforward for her.

Other choices today, if Broxbourne wasn't running Utopie Des Bordes would be my nap. Step up in trip will suit and ground will be no issue. His danger is Twigline, but Willie Mullins had struggled to find a suitable race for her, so this really is a "we will see how she goes, to what we will do next"  sort of race.

Lord Tomnoddy is a horse i want to mention. Gwanako is supposedly the horse to beat in this race, but i liked Lord Tomnoddy and thought he could win this himself also the fact that the horse has been leased for the day to Don Churston who is desperate to win the race (i have no idea what the significance is for this race in particular) so he has sort this horse out. Which makes it very interesting.

Last mention is for Mountainous. It is a risky tip because Relax won so well last time out and looks tough to beat. But Mountainous is highly thought of by connections, i do think he would very much prefer some rain to fall, as he would enjoy heavier ground. But if any horse has a chance to beat Relax then it's this one. His jockey also claims 5lb, which will give a slight advantage
