In my opinion easily the best horse in the race, most the others have been hurdling recently but have not shown anything. Almaden could pose a danger after not being very successful over hurdles, however has won on the flat over 1m 3f back in France. But i cannot really make much a case for the others. Normally too short for me, but there is not much else that stands out today.

Just a couple of mentions about the other choices today. Goldmadchen ran well in defeat last time out over course and distance in a higher grade, and should go well again, and then Red Agressor, some people will notice on the Daily Tips i tipped Kickingthelilly, who i do have a soft spot for and should go very well today, but i am very interested in Red Agressor,  who won a maiden back in August 2011, but since then has shown absolutely nothing on the track since then, but the reason i have taken notice is because those runs since his win have come on turf, and he did show a little improvement on the softer surface but not the firmer ground, also he was stepped up massively in class

So bringing the horse down in class, and back to the all weather surface could bring a big improvement out in him, and although this is a tough little race, i will be very interested to see how he goes and if i am right, then i wouldn't be surprised if he did improve and get into the places at least. The only slight worry, is that his win came on Polytrack and Southwell is a fibresand track, but fibresand is equivalent of heavy on turf, so he might quite like it, also as a front runner, the kickback that some horse do not like, might not be such a issue as he likes to lead, Nazreef , Kung Hei Fat Choy & Kickingthelilly are my chief dangers, especially Nazreef who has won 4 out of 4 at Southwell
