Not been in great form the last few days, but i missed a couple of winners yesterday, that were on my short list, so here is my full short list, but today i am much more confident on a lot of these

16:15 Meydan -  Van Ellis 7/1 e/w

Used to be trained by Mark Johnston before Godolphin took over and put him in the care of Mahmood Al Zarooni. I had been watching this horse last year, and i quite like him. he won a listed race over 6f off the same mark as today, so i would expect good things, and another plus is that he has only run once on the all weather, which was at Dundalk over 7f, and he won. So he is capable of going very well today, and 7/1 looks a big price. I have suggested e/w but i do think he could win, however there are some nice horses in this race, also capable of going close

Ran very well last time out in a higher class, he was carrying 7lbs more than the previous race, and although coming 3rd has dropped 9lbs in the weights, and comes here with every chance. The race should be run to suit to as a couple of front runners which will give them a nice fast pace, which i think he needs.
