Run well in defeat last time out, while carrying a 6lb penalty. Down 3lb for coming 3rd and a drop in class, could help him get his nose in front. His stats for Lingfield are 2, 1, 3, 1. My only worry would be The Strig, who beat Roy's Legacy at this track in November and is only 4lb higher, where as Roy's Legacy has gone up 8lb since that run. However the drop back to 5f will give Roy's Legacy an advantage over The Strig, and in my opinion The Strig always needs a run first time out after a rest. So Roy's legacy stands out as the horse to beat here.

  1st Corach Rambler 11/2 - 85 2nd Delta Work 18/1 - 60 3rd Galia Des Liteaux 25/1 - 50 3rd Aint That A Shame 50/1 - 50 3rd Chambard 66/1 - 50 3rd Noble Yeats 16/1 - 50 (FYI 4th Vanillier & Mac Tottie 45, 5th Nassalam, Limerick Lace, Run Wild Fred 40. 6th Latenightpass, Minella Indo & Eklat De Rire 35) I kind of feel disappointed that only one horse i like got into the top here. It does contain 2 previous winners of the race and after doing the system, i will conceed that Corach Rambler has a massive chance to follow up here, however we all saw the effort he put in at Cheltenham, it blew me away and it was well reported exactly how tired he was after the race. That worries me as it wasnt that long ago, althougth everything points to another very good run.
